Littlebourne 7.5 miles

Meet at the Evenhill pub, 62 The Hill, Littlebourne, CT3 1TA. (Only use the pub car park if you are staying for lunch or a drink afterwards.) I have been asked by the Parish Council to appeal to walkers, not to use the recreation ground car park.

Heading south on a gravel path next to the Nail Bourne stream we follow a lane to Highland Court Farm. We will return via Patrixbourne and use the footpath that cuts through Howletts Zoo. Although many of the enclosures are screened, it is possible to see Red River Hogs and elephants.

Afterwards there is the opportunity to have lunch at the Evenhill Pub which offers starters, pub grub, carvery and puds. I have booked a table for 6 people. If you want to be sure of a place then please contact me. For those walkers who want to decide on Sunday I will be phoning the pub in the morning to confirm numbers.
