Everyone is most welcome to come along to 'try' a walk first - please have a look at the walks programme and just 'turn up on the morning'.  If you require extra information about the walk, or there is something you are not sure of, please contact the person in charge of that particular walk.

Membership of EKWG is open to anyone in their 20s to 40s who enjoys walking and socialising with people of their own age group.

    Opportunities to get out walking with others through our local group walks - around 500 each week across England, Scotland and Wales.

The Ramblers will earn a percentage from all the online sale through this site, so we are encouraging our members as well as our friends to use this facility as it will bring additional benefit to the charity.

  • How to join EKWG
    You can join online via the Ramblers' Association website.

    Enter your "RA Group" as "East Kent Walking Group" (KT12), and you'll be made a member of EKWG. If you join online, it sometimes takes a couple of weeks for us to receive your details, so please send your contact details to the Membership Secretary so that we can add you to our mailing list as soon as possible!

    How to transfer to EKWG
    If you’re already a member of another Ramblers' Association 20s and 30s group you can transfer your group membership to EKWG via the Ramblers' Association website. Enter your "RA Group" as "East Kent Walking Group" (KT12), and you'll be made a member of EKWG. Or contact the Membership Secretary and we’ll arrange the transfer for you.
