Become a Footpath Guardian

Help to protect the paths you love to walk by becoming a Footpath Guardian.  This bite-sized project won't eat into your spare time, but will help to ensure that the rights of way network is open and useable for generations to come.

Help Protect Dorset

Dorset CountrysideThe Weymouth Relief Road is set to destroy some of our most beautiful countryside.  Join the Ramblers' Association in its fight to stop this from happening.

Coastal Access

Currently much of the access the public has to areas such as beaches and cliff tops are by permission and can be restricted or revoked at any time.  Help the Ramblers' Association in campaigning for improved access to coastal land for future generations to enjoy.

Safe to Cross

Probably the most intimidating obstruction on the footpath network is that posed by busy, dangerous roads.  Join in the Ramblers' Association's campaign to get safe crossings so that walkers, cyclists and horse riders can enjoy our rights of way network without threat.

Report a path problem

Broken stiles? Barbed wire fences? Vicious dogs? Whatever the obstruction you encountered, use our online reporting tool to tell us about them!

Get people walking!

Our Take30 booklet with its unique 10-week walking plan is the perfect way to start walking every day for mental and physical health. Help us get Take30 and its companion, Walking for You, to the people who could really benefit by distributing bulk supplies to GP surgeries, health, community, leisure and information centres, workplaces and events.
