Please Note - ALL social events are open to members only.

There are various events going on over the next few months.  There is always a social event on the last Saturday of every month.  Please let Jo know if you would like to arrange and host an end of month social.

And of course, you can always join in one of Jo's Murder Mystery nights - go to www.quizzicool.co.uk and click on diary of events.

Thanks to Anna for offering to arrange the following weekend:

Bath - May Bank Holiday - 2nd - 4th May

Dean and Anna are organising next year's May Bank holiday weekend away in and around Bath.

As a really popular tourist spot it would be advisable that anyone wanting to join us for this weekend books their accommodation ASAP! I have included below a couple of really good websites and the one for the YHA, although I believe that there are other hostels. The walks will be around the Bath area (most probably there will be a walk from Bradford upon Avon and Cheddar Gorge, though no promises can be made yet), so this is the most ideal place to stay, especially for those that want to go out on the town.

Accommodation:
http://www.visitbath.co.uk/
http://www.bath.org/
http://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation/south-west-england/hostels/Bath/local_info.aspx
(I have been quoted £18.95 per night in an adult dorm in the Bath YHA)
There are a couple of caravan/campsites - Jo and Mick are booked into Newton Mill, go to www.campinginbath.co.uk for info.

There's lots to do in and around Bath so some people might want to consider staying a little longer and exploring the area fully. The "visitbath" website (above) gives a good taster of all that can be found there but just to wet some appetites there is the Pump rooms (great for a spot of afternoon tea), the famous Sally Lunn shop, Bath Abbey, Bath spa (for anyone who fancies a bit of pampering), boat rides on the river Avon, the Jane Austin museum and shopping!! For anyone who likes a second-hand bookshop the Book Barn (http://www.bookbarn.co.uk/) isn't far away (Dean knows it well and has practically taken up residence there several times - a good cake and a cup of tea can also be found here) or the city of Wells or Cheddar Gorge (great for anyone that loves Cheddar, cream teas and spectacular views!

We will send out further details nearer to the time.
