ALL WALKS START AT 10AM ONLESS OTHERWISE STATED. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO ARRIVE AND BE READY FOR A PROMPT START AND NOT HOLD UP OTHER WALKERS. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF THE STARTING POINT PLEASE CONTACT THE WALK LEADER BEFORE THE DAY OF THE WALK AS OFTEN THERE IS NO MOBILE PHONE RECEPTION IN WALK AREAS.
SPRING PROGRAMME (Jan - April 2010) - please click here for the latest excel version or here for the Word version.
SUMMER PROGRAMME (May - August 2010) - click here for excel or here for word.
Everyone is most welcome to come along and 'try' a walk first - please have a look at the walks programme and just turn up on the morning. If you require further information about the walk or there is something you are not sure of, please contact the walk leader direct.
Saturdays have been designated for 'new' walks only for new routes to be tried out before we lead fellow walkers into the unknown! Any new leaders are more than welcome to contact seasoned leaders and ask for assistance in practising new routes. If you are stuck for ideas then remember that I have a 'library' of ordnance survey maps belonging to EKWG which any member is welcome to borrow at any time. Please mail me at walks@ekwg.co.uk to book your walk.
So that walk leaders are alerted to whether they will be practising their walk alone (please avoid) or not can you please contact them beforehand if you intend joining. If no-one has contacted them and they abandon the walk rather than going alone some people might turn up to a non-existent walk - please communicate!!
